Okay, family. Long time, no post.
Throat-clearing and finger-tapping.
As I have attempted my few preparations for Valentine's Day this year, I recalled when Grandma G. told a much, much younger me that her wedding anniversary was February 14th. Up to that point, I had been unaware. How romantic, I thought. I wanted to be married on Valentine's Day too. I wasn't.
Today is their 82nd anniversary.
I can't help thinking of the sentiment, "All because two people fell in love." (Which is NOT on a plaque hanging in my home.) Because of them, to quote the Pointer Sisters, We Are Family.
And much, much larger than this nowadays.
And just for fun, I'm posting a few more random pics. Who knows if these will have to suffice for another 10 months.
